About T Movement Studio
Started in a lockdown.
Built one client at a time.
A video production company in Petaling Jaya, making story-driven corporate videos, brand films and video podcasts for companies across the Klang Valley, Malaysia and Singapore.
Our story
From b-roll classes to client work
T Movement Studio began during the MCO, when the whole country was stuck at home and the only way to reach people was through a screen.
It started with transition b-rolls: fast, flashy cuts that made people stop scrolling. The craft caught on so well that it turned into classes, teaching others how to shoot and edit. That lasted about a year.
Then the focus shifted. The most rewarding part was never the technique. It was solving a real problem for a real business. So the classes stopped, and everything went into serving clients.
Our first clients were SMEs: owners who needed video but didn’t have big budgets or big teams. They taught us to be resourceful and fast, and to care about whether a video actually brings in business. Over time the work grew, and today we produce for corporate clients, brands and organisations.
What we love now
From trendy to meaningful
We were once known for high-energy, trend-driven videos. They still have their place. But the projects that stay with us now are the ones with a story: a founder explaining why they started, a product that changes how a woman feels in her own skin, a conversation that runs for an hour because everyone forgot the camera was there.
Story-driven brand films
Videos that show why a business exists, not just what it sells.
Women's product campaigns
Beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands made for women.
Video podcasts
For companies, coaches and founders with something worth saying.
The team
Who's behind it
T Movement Studio is led by founder Travis Lam, who works as producer and director on every project. He shapes the idea and the story, and makes sure what ends up on screen is what the client meant to say.
For each shoot we put together a crew that fits the job, not a one-size-fits-all package.
How we work
- We come to you. On location across the Klang Valley, outstation in Malaysia, and in Singapore.
- We think like business owners first. We started with SMEs, so we know a video has to earn its keep.
- We handle it end to end, from concept and script to shoot and final edit.
Brands we've worked with
Big Pharmacy · BMI · Nescafé · Milo · KitKat · DUA · MamyPoko · Panasonic · Celovis · Weber · Refine · Henkel · ISKL · China Communications Construction Company · Takenaka
